Link 21 is a consulting engineering company specializing in the engineering and project management of sports and leisure facilities. It was set up specifically to service the particular requirements of the golf course and leisure industries and, since its formation in 1999, has built a successful track record in Hong Kong and internationally.
Link 21's personnel have extensive experience
in golf course and leisure engineering design, project management and construction
supervision. Link 21 is part owned by AIM Group - an expert services provider
in the wider engineering infrastructure field. Link 21's services and its
unique expertise are thus complemented by those of AIM Group, giving clients
access to a wide variety of skills as may be required for a project, from
conventional engineering design to planning, handling contractual issues
and economic assessments.
Company Experience
As a brief sample of Company experience, Link 21 has successfully completed the following projects:
- Reconstruction of the Old Course at the Hong Kong Golf Club, Hong Kong Link 21 was responsible for the contract documentation, tendering process and contract administration for this comprehensive reconstruction of one of the oldest and most prestigious golf courses in Hong Kong, achieving successful completion on time and within budget.
- Reconstruction of the Lower Golf Course at the Shek O Country Club This Project entailed master planning, project management and construction supervision for the complete reconstruction of 7 of the 18 holes at this prestigious golf course and a major new drainage outlet to alleviate serious flooding problems.

- Third Course at the Jockey Club Public Golf Course, Kau Sai Chau, Hong Kong Link 21 provided tender and specialist construction support to the Contractor responsible for the third golf course at the extremely popular Public Golf Course at Kau Sai Chau.
- Replacement Pitch at the Kowloon Cricket Club This project comprised the complete replacement of the old cricket pitch with an international-standard playing surface. The project also included drainage improvements to alleviate flooding problems and an innovative irrigation water storage facility located beneath the pitch.

- Water Management Study for the Hong Kong Golf Club Link 21 was responsible for a comprehensive water management study covering the Hong Kong Golf Club's courses at Fanling and Deep Water Bay, including the irrigation and drainage systems at both courses.
- Al Shaqab Equestrian Centre, Doha, Qatar Link 21 provided design input for the Site infrastructure for a major equestrian centre in Qatar.
- Resort and Leisure Planning Studies in Hong Kong, Mainland PRC and Asia Specialist engineering advice for a variety of tourist and leisure projects in Hong Kong, Mainland PRC and Asia.

Our Approach to Projects
Link 21 is fully aware of the critical need to develop and be an integral
part of the overall project team which we know from our extensive experience
with the construction and reconstruction of major golf courses and other
leisure facilities in Hong Kong, examples of which are given above.
With a large number of specialist and highly skilled consultants and contractors involved in many of these types of projects, it is essential that there is very close coordination between all parties to ensure a successful end-product. This is the primary objective of Link 21, whether as lead project manager or as part of a wider project team. We focus on our client's requirements and strive to meet them on time within budget but with no compromise on quality and fitness for purpose.
